RES has been granted planning approval for the Murra Warra Wind Farm in Australia, when completed it will be one of the largest wind farms in the southern hemisphere.

Ararat Wind Farm welcomed its first 50-metre long turbine blade during a ceremony on 15 June at which the Premier of the state of Victoria, the Hon. Daniel Andrews, was guest of honour.

Great progress is being made at the 240MW Ararat wind farm, Australia. There are currently 150 people on site, with six main sub contractors working together, in addition to the main Downer GE construction consortium. The Ararat team are working in a challenging environment to complete the project by May 2017.
